Certificates of Deposit

We have a large variety of Certificates of Deposit. You are sure to find the one to fit your needs!

We also have an 15 Month Certificate which requires a minimum balance of $2,500.00. The 15 Month Certificate has no penalty for early withdrawal after the first 15 days.

All the other Certificates use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on the account, which applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. All Certificates require a $500 initial deposit, and additional deposits cannot be made into the account. If you withdrawal any of the principal before the maturity date, we may impose an early withdrawal penalty of one month to one years interest on the amount withdrawn, depending on the term of the certificate. You have 10 days after the maturity date of withdraw funds without penalty. The Certificates will automatically renew.

 

Individual Retirement Account

Community State Bank offers an 18 Month Variable Rate IRA Certificate of Deposit. We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on the account, which applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.

You must deposit $100.00 to open this accounts. You may not make withdrawals from your account until the maturity date.

If you withdraw any of the principal or interest before the maturity date, we may impose a penalty of 90 days interest at the rate then in effect for the the amount withdrawn. This account will automatically renew. There is a 10 day grace period following the maturity of this account.

Any of the above CDs can also be written into an Individual Retirement Account. All terms, interest rates, balances and penalties will apply."
